Charitable Community Involvement

Our company and our growers share a strong belief in the importance of sharing our abundance with those less fortunate than ourselves. Together, we regularly donate nutritious fresh organic produce to food banks across the country. Be it mislabeled, slightly damaged, overstocked or simply in the wrong place at the wrong time, we'd all rather these fruits and vegetables went to feed the hungry than went to waste. Although it takes a bit of extra time and effort we all agree it's worth it to donate these products to food banks instead of just throwing them away.

In addition to these regular donations, CF Fresh also makes a special effort to help people during times of crisis, such as disaster relief for Hurricanes Katrina and Rita in 2005. We organized our growers, storage providers, and transportation companies and successfully donated over 80,000 lbs of fresh produce to America's Second Harvest for distribution into the devastated Gulf Coast region. We are grateful to all of the organizations and people who made this effort a success. Together, we made a difference!
